November 13th - 2002 -

The upcoming movie with Timothy which was originally titled Diablo was changed to El Diablo, and yet again to "A Man Apart."

A mysterious man known only as Diablo (Olyphant) takes over a powerful drug cartel when the former boss goes to prison. That former drug lord then teams up with a DEA agent (Diesel) and his partner (Tate) to try to take down Diablo...

During production, a lawsuit was filed by computer game company Blizzard Entertainment, creator of the Diablo computer games. They argued that they had trademarked the title "Diablo" and intended to make a motion picture based on their game. The case was briefly ruled in favor of Blizzard, but was quickly overturned. - imdb.com

More new stuff on the DREAMCATCHER website!

Post-production on DREAMCATCHER is in full swing, but we're never too busy to add good stuff to the web site. Take a couple minutes to check out the latest additions...

The clips in our "Video Journal" were already unusually extensive and varied, the star attractions on the site -- and we've just added four more (http://dreamcatchermovie.warnerbros.com/cmp/nl_video.html). One is a bemused commentary by the actor who plays "McCarthy," the lost hunter unaware that he is the bearer of an alien horror. Another provides vivid glimpses of the way storyboards are actually used on a big effects picture. And don't miss the clip where the effects supervisor from Industrial Light + Magic goes all out to create the action of a monster chomping through... a toilet brush.
